Valuation stays on national size bands. BizBuySell’s manufacturing median 2.75x SDE is Main Street (Source: BizBuySell). The 2025 review’s 223-day median staffs QoE and a Phase I. It is not a northland close date. IBBA’s Q1 2026 print that 83% of deals over $5 million drew three or more offers explains crowding on larger aerospace-adjacent files. It is not a State Line turn.
Which side of State Line holds the plant?
Ask before anyone books a tour. A Missouri letter on Kansas dirt breaks tax sentences, notice assumptions, and the CBP row you quote.

Both tables list mini-WARN N. Federal WARN still tests 100 full-time employees and 60 days if you later cut or move work. Do not invent a headcount. Do not copy an Ohio Y cell onto either side.
Write the buybox as if State Line were the first diligence question, because it is. Process, size band, certificates, concentration ceiling, real-estate stance, capital path, and Missouri or Kansas. “Any Kansas City manufacturer” is none of those lines. Independence food and Missouri-side metal can share a skyline and still need different QoE scopes. A Johnson County shop can share the same skyline and still need Kansas’s 63.7-person backdrop. Food and metal packets on a split MSA

State Line does not change the national 7(a) box. Open SBA 7(a) for manufacturing acquisitions: $5 million ceiling, 10% injection under SOP 50 10 8 (Source: SBA). A Johnson County seller note is equity only on complete standby for the life of the loan, and only up to half that injection.
